Why climb all the way down to Radio I on Battleship Massachusetts to see a TDE, when you could have one in your shack?

My kids are keeping me busy enough that I am not going to get to all the projects on my list.  I have only gotten as far as mounting this on casters(with original mounting holes), confirming that all but one of the cartridge resistors are good, spinning the motor-generator by hand to see that it is free, and observing that the antenna loading coil and its switch are broken. 

I have an extra generator unit(sans motor).  

The front panel is in excellent condition. There was a modification, by the Navy, to keep the filaments lit on standby position.
