Gents:

A couple of other places to board WWII vintage boats are: the Inner Harbor in Charm City (Baltimore) where the USS Torsk is available for tours as well as the USS Constellation, sister ship to the USS Constitution (both wooden ships, in case you didn't know); and the on-water museum in Mobile Bay, where the USS Drum (Wayne Green's W2NSD/1's boat) is tourable along with the battleship USS Alabama (with WWII vintage microwave radar dishes clearly visible on the superstructure), SR-71 Blackbird, a B-52, Navy Hellcat, and bunches of other equally interesting exhibit pieces.

And while we're on the topic of military radios, don't forget to visit the CSS Hunley* also on display in Charleston, SC. A fascinating example of state-of-the-art submarine technology from 145 years ago.

* No radios on board her, but somehow needed to justify mentioning it.
