I think that just about everyone in the business is sold out of MS-51's. The
reason appears to be that it is the top section for the SCR-610 and people
are always losing them. I know of one guy in SC to whom I sold three or four,
one at a time. I don't currently have any extra MS-117-A left but if you look
around, I think you can still find them. Problem is that for an HF setup, it
takes three.
To use the earlier types, all I can suggest is to machine the male threads
and heli-coil the female ones on an MS-52. But I would still suggest searching
for MS-117-A's first.
