Ron,

The only thing that comes to mind would be a 5Z3.  And if the octal socket is 
for the low B+, it might be a 5U4 or a 5Y3, depending.  If the filament 
winding for it is rated at 2.0 amps, then 5Y3 as the 5U4 and 5R4 both draw 3.0.  If 
it is rated at 3.0, then no clue really as it's homebrew and the builder may 
have used what he could get his hands on.

However, with those transformers, both the low and the high B+ are going to 
be excessive.  In the original designs, those voltages are 230 and 400 VDC 
respectively.
