I always use BAX Global to have stuff shipped to me from overseas.
Rates are reasonable, it gets here fast. Even less expensive if it's
dropped off at and picked up from the BAX warehouse (usually next to major
airports).
Then there is also bulk shipping by ocean freight. Just recently I shared
a shipping container with 2 other hams to ship equipment from Germany.
If I recall, shipping a 1 cubic meter (approx. 27 cu. ft.) container,
regardless of weight, including transportation to the port and taxes was
something like $400 ...
