I asked about sending a small (less than a pound) box to oz last
November. $61and change to send a Christmas ornament via FedEx. In
2002 I had three 25kg containers of ARC-5 and Command Set gear sent
here from there via air for a couple hundred dollars. Since USPS
stopped surface shipment, commercial shippers collectively have us by
the short hairs.
Either they're making enough money or don't care, or both.
