[Milsurplus] RU2

I was able to take  a quick look at a GF manual. It also listed the RU-2 as a retrofit.

RU-2
the tube line up consists of
3 type CBY-38039
2 type CBPY-38036
1 type CBY-38038

Thus the RU-2 still used the 5 pin tubes.

One of the 36s was the introdyne osc. ie BFO thus the RU-2
could receive continous wave signals.
frequency range 224mhz to 12.5mhz

The RU-2 appears to be a retrofit to the GF. The higher
numbered GFs did not have an integral receiver. The
complete package consisted of the GF/RU pair.
