[Milsurplus] LM questions

The voltage regulation is inside the LM. There are two neon gas discharge
lamps. The Non-A power supply has guards over the compensation switches.

Having been told by Robert Downs that no meter is appropriate for the A
version, I'm just going to leave things as they are and keep my eyes open
for a non-A version.
Does the non-A version have guards over the two line voltage switches?

Also, does the non regulated supply imply that the FM is a lot less
sensitive to voltage changes than contemplated, or possibly that the
stability was overkill for the intended uses?

  Thanks very much,
  -John
