Joe, if they are FDIC they have to honor the check from where ever but 
they can block your funds at their whim depending on your account until 
the funds clear.
IIRC They have to clear all funds within 72 hours through the FR ECH law 
as of about 5 or so years ago.
Check online banking, all funds, post as pending unit 1:00AM and they 
then post to your account as available unless a hold was placed at the 
time of deposit.
