Just started reading the book "Dam Busters" again (how many times 
before?) in anticipation of getting the DVD (how many times have I 
watched this one on TV?).

 

 Is there an accurate Lancaster restoration with this particular bomb 
load?
 
This was an exceptionally insightful bit of engineering on the fly so 
to speak as the story goes.

 I'd love to crawl around inside the British bombers. Wellington's were 
stick and fabric,streamlined versions of their predecessors of the 
Great War. When one enlisted in the R.A.F. did they measure your balls 
too?
