[Milsurplus] crystal has lost activity

Thanks  for making me sane; crystals are not active unless they are 
acted on.  For many reasons well documented in previous replies to my 
post on crystal can "loose activity?".  Since I glean this list for Boat 
Anchor list info and wisdom I can now rest easy that my crystals cannot 
loose their functionaliity due to "age" of the rock itself.  The mount  
is a critical  piece of the puzzle as well as stress, thermal or 
mechanical on the rock it self.
