No, it is the standard Spicer 23-2 with floating axles. The duals were a WWII 
modifiation to help the jeep get off the beach during island landings. The 
MZ-1 weighs about 850# more than a standard WWII jeep. 
 
You all may be interested in an upcoming article in the MVPA's magazine "Army 
Motors" that will feature the WWII Navy and USMC series radio jeeps. I wrote 
more about the vehicle and not the TCS (it is a Military Vehicle Mag.). I 
think it is in the summer issue, late June or July.
