Yes, Higgins did build PT Boats. In fact one list member old enough to know
told me they built the first ones. But all I meant was that 99% of the time
when anyone of that period says "Higgins Boat", they mean the Landing Craft.
Eisenhower called it one of the three most important tools of the War.
