[Milsurplus] RE: POSTAL MAIL CHARGES

 G'day lists .... While numbers  probably don't mean much in the context of the USPS 
international charges,it may be of use to look at past actuals  for comparison with 
the new in relation to mailing to AUSTRALIA.

Selecting one of  several despatch notes CP72  filed early this year, 21 lbs sent to 
me cost US $ 46.05--- this from the west coast. and by Surface/Nonpriority.
Place of  despatch and addressed place of delivery to this country have no effect on 
postal charges..
Someone with current access to their table of  charges or their Post Office might 
like to confirm the new regime  cost.
