[Milsurplus] TBX2 quetion

Hi all, 
 
Can anyone help with a TBX2 question. 
 
On my TBX2 there are two meters, one rf, one current/volts.
 
There are two switches on the front. A left right toggle marked TRANS  
CATHODE/REC FILIMENT and another one, this time biased,  marked REC/PL  VOLTAGE 
(biased in the PL VOLTAGE position.
 
Now, the current/volt meter registers the receiver ht voltage when the  
biased switch is put to REC VOLTAGE. When this biased switch is released its in  
the PL VOLTAGE postion, and with the other switch in REC FIL position there is  
also an indication during rx. 
 
But, I can not see see how one meter and 2 switched can display the 4  
options available, ie
 
REC VOLTS  yes
REC FIL         yes
TRANS CATHODE   nothing
PL VOLTAGE          nothing 
 
My circuit diagram does not seem to tally up with the set ? So, any ideas.
