Can't recall if we've discussed this or not. This site,

seller of classic military aviation video, has some video
online, free. The resolution is not always as good as
you would like, and the presentation will be small-screen
(you lose resolution if you make it much larger), but the
price is right. 
I found the war film (about 1/2 hour) "Thunderbolt!" kind
of interesting, particularly about life at the forward base.
