The BC-9 transceiver (SCR-77) is primative even by 1920s standards.
Yet this little CW transceiver with the loop antenna, grandfather to
the SCR-131 and others of this type, was built under many contracts
from at least 1921 up to 1930. The post-WWI Army did not have
money to waste on systems that didn't work. This radio had to have
seen extensive,. successful service in the inter-war years.
Anyone have any good documentation on this set?
I have only a manual copy and a copy of the article in
an Army publication, noting it's introduction.
