[Milsurplus] TBX mic

I used a T-17 but had to install a 2n3904 as a audio amplifier in the
microphone to get a bit more gain. the original microphone produced lots
of output so a stock T-17 will not modulate the radio well, at least in
the TBX-6. Think the eaght had a speach amplifer.
The atachment on the top is for a CW key.

Hi all, 
 
Does anyone have the correct microphone to go with a TBX ?
 
Would a T-17 be used ?  and what clips to the fixtures on top of the 
case, 
towards the left rear?
