[Milsurplus] RU PBY

Was looking at Jan 42 "Flying" magazine, a special on Navy aviation.
(Nothing on radio.)  Has one photo of radioman in a PBY Cat. This
installation shows 2 RU receivers on shelf above him, 2 control boxes
mounted on main shelf. LM between receivers. What was odd is that
it sure looks like, with the LM mounted only maybe 3 inches from the
left (as seen) RU, there's no way to change the left RU's coil, without
removing the LM. So, i am guessing the left RU was plugged with a dual
coil, maybe one for 500 kcs and then a higher common use range.
Also, in this photo, unlike others i have seen, they perspective is back
far enuff that you can see, to the right rear of the seated op, 7 RU coil
holders apparently mounted to the wall ( "bulkhead" ? ), vertically stacked.

BTW, if someone "needs" this, i have an empty, small wooden RU spares
box, needs some cleaning like removing stickers on it. $10 unless you have
