Dave may not be receiving, as I tried to send him a note earlier telling him
when he got the original kit (from me) but it bounced - mailbox full.
Yes, or part of it. Technically, a CDA-T consisted of the plug-in unit, all
parts for converting a 52286 or T-47, and instructions. The parts list is
sorta generic, in the sense that the couple of cable harnesses are called just
that. And the kit didn't give details on how to make the harnesses nor part
numbers of the added switch wafers. Other than that, the list shows a relay, a
condenser, a couple of resistors and mostly hardware (bracket, and nuts, screws
and washers). On the other hand, except for the sheet metal, the parts list
of the plug-in is detailed, given relay, choke, etc. part numbers.
FWIW, the HF/LF kit originally sold for $160.00, less tubes and crystals.
That was circa 1948. Pete W. can comment on installation time.
