These "fix base" crystal controlled stations that were used by the Marine 
and Industrial groups make
fine heavy duty stations. In this case due to the weight and size (60 
pounds, 18 tubes) plus cabinet.  I put the unit on wheels.     :-)
I  feed my Collins 32RS-1 with a Northern VMO and choose either low side or
high side injection for upper and lower sideband selection.
I had to modify the 32RS-1 for CW.
