Back in the early 60's our EW Repairman used them to align ELINT
receivers like the AN/APR-9 and something really ancient that I think
was the AN/TLR-1 or 2. I don't remember if the sig gen had a pulse
function, but I imagine so in addition to CW... & maybe AM or FM. Sorry
- no TM. The rest of the URM-61 was a transit case and some RF cables
and adapters. It's power source would have been 110-115 VAC single
phase, and probably 50 to 400 cycle.

There was a series of HP sig gens starting with the HP model 606 (HF),
608 (VHF-Lo UHF), 621...etc spanning octave bands (2-4, 4-8, 8-12 or
16, that were Mil nomenclatured in the URM- series. Some were 2nd
sourced from other manufacturers. But I don't remember if the TS-403
was one of them or something mil developed like the URM-25 & 26. We
used Polarad sig gens for the higher freqs. My last direct exposure to
microwave stuff was in about 1964 ... mostly HF after that. In the mid
70's I did have some guys working for me that did GLQ- & MLQ- type
repair, but they were at remote sites.
