1st url is the math foundation of the jobbies I've tried - both the
60W 'derringer style' & the 150w 'floor slabs.'  Sure takes some
digesting, that.

Sorta 'reverse switchers' where instead of going fm 200vdc chopped
to 5V/12V/etc, u go fm 11V (after polarity prot'n) chopped to 160v
@ 20khz - rectify - then "H-bridge" & shape for 115vac rms.

I still don't see how they're so cheap.  Note Fry's in ATL has a
250w continuous/400int for $14.50 this weekend
