[Milsurplus] USN MS Set

An interesting WWII US Navy set is at:

It is a USN type MS set.  Name plate says:

3 watts    A3    60 to 80 mc
August 8, 1942 contract date

Yes, it's a version of the popular Abbott TR-4!

I never knew that the USN adopted this set.  I always saw it mentioned in WWII QSTs as the most common War Emergency Radio Service (WERS) set, operating around 112 MC instead of the range shown for the MS on its namplate.

My TR-4 is in crappy condition.
