I didn't see any Japanese inscriptions on the TBX-8 stuff, but I would have been very surprised if there were any.  I doubt that the TBX-8 was even anywhere in the field by the time WWII ended, much less in days early enough to be captured.  The preliminary instruction manual for the TBX-8 is dated 15 March 1945.

Also, note that several of the Japanese labels also had addresses in California printed in English on them.

I think there's some explaination less exotic than capture.
