Hello, the new squelch gear "PRC-25" ect, has always
measured about 13khz on the dev. anytime I ever
checked....so thats why the GRC and PRC stuff usually
gets along very well......we use to check into mil
nets and the net control would be using VRC-46 and we
were using RT-68 units in the Jeeps .....no problem
with compatability.Of course they had to run "open
Squelch" or old squelch in order to hear us.....new
squelch requires the 150 hz tone at 3khz dev....mike
