I didn't want to get into the details of calibration checkpoints in my last post dealing with BC-348 receiver usage, but since the issue is raised, here goes.

An AN/ART-13 with the second and by far most commonly encountered 8Q-2 MCW/CFI unit produces calibration check points as indicated for use in the calibration book and tables at intervals that are dependant on the setting of Coarse VFO Dial A:

Frequency VFO Dial A Cal Interval
  0.2 to 0.5 mc 13 25 kc
  2.0 to 3.0 mc 1 or 2 100 kc
  3.0 to 4.0 mc 3 or 4 150 kc
  4.0 to 6.0 mc 5 or 6 200 kc
  6.0 to 9.0 mc 7 or 8 300 kc
  9.0 to 12.0 mc 9 or 10 450 kc
12.0 to 18.1 mc 11 or 12 600 kc

NB: There are exactly ZERO calibration check points spaced at 50 kc intervals.

That would be my suggestion. You'll find some here:
