[Milsurplus] gun site

Not sure if this is off topic or not. This site is called Milsurplus. But
all I
haveever seen are Radios discussed. Maybe someone can help me out though. I
have
recently acquired a NOS still in the shipping box a " Gyro Gun Site. Type 6
Mark II" I was wondering if any one could please tell me the vintage of this
site and what aircraft it would have been used on?     Thanks   Moe
