The real test of the power supply filter capacitors
is to use a scope to have a look at how well the
DC is being filtered. For capacitor input type filters
use a volt meter to see if the input capacitor is doing
its job. Someone want to comment on howcome
there's so many different power supplies for the
BC-779? They were all interchangeable.
Also, anyone get zapped by lifting a working BC-779
by the IF can on the rear edge? The little variable
capacitor is hot, and not covered.
