I was going to suggest that ssb doesn't stand up as well to cw as it
does to am. I really don't want to step down to the level of the
intentional qrm dogs nor encourage anybody else to do so. Best to just
go quietly about our business and not pubilcize AM operating
frequencies. Why put out bait for pigs when we really don't want pigs at
all?
I have some AM gear that I'll get on the air soon and see if I can find
some of you. I removed the modulator tubes in all and even a modulation
transformer in one of them. Now I have to put all (or some) of that
back.
