[Milsurplus] PP-109 PSU Parts Needed

This is the 12V one that drives my RT-68/GRC. It has a dead vibrator and I am out of 5A fuses. Vibrator hums happily but is shorted inside. Causes an overload in the 85V Primary circuit, makes R-19 get HOT and blows the fuse in about 10-15 sec.

All 3 vibes are labeled the following:

ATR
VIBRATOR
TYPE 6427
6 VOLTS
ST. PAUL MINNESOTA
MADE IN U.S.A.
3H6690-15

Last # is the Sig. Corps stock #.
I am tempted to pry open the can and pop the contacts apart. Is this worth the time?
Anyone know of an equivalent chart? Fair has several listed, but I don't know what to order, if anything.

Regarding fuses, where can I get these? I bummed one off a pal but he has no others. Can I re-stuff the unit using a smaller version w/the same rating?

The '68 is hale and healthy at 55 years of age. Receive works very well, I get 12-14W output at HIGH setting when powered w/the Navy version of the PSU my pal has.
