The circa $350 price for the BC-348 always seemed to me to 
be suspiciously low. Especially when we consider a Command
Set receiver was about a third that.
It would be very interesting indeed to see the RU/GF prices.
Maybe one could get an idea from commerical radio prices
for similar equipment, IF it existed. Of course, it wouldn't 
be "BUILT".
The Navy RBM / RBS receiver has been cited as $1000 in
Navy publications and the RBB / RBC, from $1900 to $2300
depending on date, IIRC.  -Hue
