Mke,

You are more a guru on RDFs and ADFs than I on stuff other than the
MN-26 & -31. Do you have enough info to put together a small family tree
of the DF sets from the late 30s through the mid 50s along with
approximate introduction dates w/o a lot of work ?  I have parts of the
Bendix family tree but am ignorant of others.

Additional info:

It appeared in quantity just after WWII, and I'm sure some were still in
active
service more than 30 years later.   It was used by all US service
branches and those
of Canada as well.
