I just found a WWII Era coax jumper
(cloth insulation) with two PL-259s,
engraved with "Western Electric," "PL-259"
and "CW-49190."  They're also stamped,
with black ink, "CA 27."  It also has a metal band
around one end; it has markings, but I can't read them
because they're covered with thick, brown paint.

A W.E. engraving... hot dog!  
Ought to bring enough to buy an L-7, don'tcha think?
 (Actually, I'm gonna send them to a certain
 electronic warfare fan, since they probably 
 belong in with his gear :).
