[Milsurplus] Chicom 81 set manual ??

This is a long shot. 
I wonder if anyone has had translated parts of the China 81 set.
I would like to understand better some details on the oscillator 
and the antenna matching system.

Also, does anyone understand the Chinese nomenclature system?
Do the "8's " in 81, 884, etc. reflect the Chinese numerology love
of certain lucky numbers? For example, some Chinese drivers,
i mean rich ones, pay tens of THOUSANDS of dollars worth for
certain highly desirable lucky number license plates, such as 
888 8888.
