I have to agree with Breck.  Alkaline 9-volters are $2++ versus 50 cents 
for Panasonic carbon-zincs at the Dollar store.  So that's $25 vs. $5 
for a 90-volt battery.  If I get a few hours out of them, it's enough 
for a season of fooling around.  I also have a GRC-9 and SCR-288 to feed 
as well.
