So for us not "in the know" what are all the differences? Date or era 
of manyfacture?

Ok, wise acres.  My ping was just testing to make sure Ralph hadn't 
banned me, as my reply to Joe's comment on the PL-68's bounced.  :-)

But...

The proper response to "ping" (when not followed by an IP address) is:

Usage: ping [-t] [-a] [-n count] [-l size] ... etc.

And incidentally (my bounced reply), the PL-68's Fair has left (at 
least as of two weeks ago) are cutoffs and all PJ-068's, unless they've 
missed any "real" PL-68's since I asked them to go through the box.
