I'm no expert on this, but, it appears the oscillator is
producing even harmonics, i.e. 10 and 14. It also
appears that it doesn't want to produce odd harmonics.
Maybe the crystals you are using are suspect. Now, the
transmitter with which I am familiar, the BC-640, had
a trippler stage after the oscillator, and the oscillator
fed the raw oscillator frequency to the trippler stage.
That is, the oscillator wasn't expected to tripple anything.
I'd try using a crystal that's designed to be a trippler, but
you said it was an overtone crystal. Question: What
frequency is the oscillator tank circuit tuned to?
