[Milsurplus] Alexanderson alternator on Xmas eve

Well, unfortunately nothing heard here. I started listening about 02:30 on
17.2 KHz but nothing heard that I could even claim to have been SAQ. I
thought I may have heard some CW around 02:45, but after listening to that
much noise you can almost convince yourself of hearing anything. My noise
floor on the Rycom 6040 was about -70 dBm in a 3.1 KHz BW. Actually sounded
pretty normal. Antenna may have been a problem as it was just a 300 foot
long inverted V at 70 feet with about an additional 80 feet of ladder line
to feed it and then probably another 60 feet of twisted pair to the
receiver. Went in on the balanced input. Heard a lot of stuff, but no SAQ.
