The Codebreakers was not really a technical book as I remember. It made a big
splash in the popular press, but was more anecdotal and (sadly) lacking in
details. I seem to remember it was published about the same time as the Enigma
decrypting became public knowledge.

Louis Muelstee's books are without equal.  Buy them...   NOW! LoL.
