Well, I don't know if the signal is VLF or not ( I rather doubt that
it is), but on the album of Gordon Lightfoot's
concert at Massey Hall in Toronto, RF sure as hell got into the audio
system... CW, to be exact.
At the end of CANADIAN RAILWAY TRILOGY, as the applause begins, the
public address amplifier gives
out with a "spacing signal", or as it's known, a "double dash" ( _
. . . _ ) in the form of AC hum!
I figure one of the accompianists unplugged from the mixing board,
and momentarily left a path for a strong
RF signal to leak in. As soon as the CW got in, the board operator
apparently potted down his channels to
silence to get rid of it.
Probably a ham somewhere near Massey Hall.
