If there is enough adjustment range in the trimmers/coil cores, you should
have no problem. If an adjustment is already close to one end or is at the
end of its adjustment, it won't work.
As it is, the IF adjustment procedure on any receiver with a single
crystal filter is to peak the IF at the crystal frequency (as it ages, its
resonant frequency will change). Most likely, an original crystal won't
be as far off from aging like in your case 6 KHz on the new crystal - so
probably everything still would be in the adjustment range.
