Regarding "strippers" of silver.......My $20 (tubeless) TBW was missing
the ~#10 silver plated wire from both its big roller inductors. Fix was
easy. Re-soldered to one of the remaining tabs and rolled new #10 copper
back on. Soldered it onto the other tab and they're both "ready to roll"
again. I figure if they get hot enough to pop the solder, I'm doing
something that should be stopped anyhow, kind of like a mechanical
crowbar circuit.
