The hell of it is, doesn't even look good. His own new wood or plastic panel and
breadboard would have looked better. I have noticed a few retro-builders of
crystal radios and smaller tube sets going for a retro look, but they get too
cutesy and end up looking like those "Emerson modern antique radio" and
"AM/FM Field Radio" and other such cheezey looking, bottom-end junk. -Hue
