[Milsurplus] BC 375 D

I began the process of restoring a BC 375, which by any standards is in the poorest of condition.  All of my data in one the BC 375E.  It turns out that this is a BC 375D.  Is anyone aware of the "differences" between a D and E model?  Anything that I should be concerned about?

Since I plan to use a homebrew power supply that also runs my SCR units and ART 13, what experiences do any of you have running the 375 on a power supply?
