Because I have as much right to express myself here as you. Labeling
someone who disagrees as a "troll" is (well, stooping a bit) childish,
don't you agree? Rather than this, perhaps you might defend Inhoff. I
did my research and raised some fair points.

Would it not be more productive if you should suggest that we get off
our butts and flood his office with calls demanding a fix a system which
has cut off supply of equipment on which our hobby is based?

The political expressions here seem A-OK until they are found to be not
to the liking of KA1KAQ, and then those who disagree become "trolls" and
the conversation is deemed improper. Why is that?

This seems like a trap - one that I am happy to oblige as a service to
provide a little balance. There is, after all, more than one idea,
whether it be on radios or the more irrelevant original posting about
the nonsense saluting bill.

I don't like conflict but neither do I suffer imbalance and unfairness
easily. My first interest is various military radios and that's why I
monitor this list. My level of participation in the discussion is in
keeping with my level of experience. When I have something to offer I
will, but meanwhile I learn a whole lot by listening.

AFAIK, no one appointed KA1KAQ as the "decider". If that be the case,
maybe the list needs to be re-named to something more in keeping with
KA1KAQ's ideas?

/m

ps: I have not served in the military but every time I board a museum
ship I turn to and salute. Why? Because it's my offer of respect from
my heart. No one's stopping a vet from doing that. So what's the crisis?
