    transceiver.  200mw.  Operates on either the VHF
    [121.5 MHz] or UHF [243.0 MHz] band. Also has
    the battery extension cylinder 1A1MP15.  I have 
    powered it up BUT NOT ACTIVATED IT - as I 
    spent many hours while in USN/HFDF for ''distress
    alerts - that were found to be personnel activating
    units that they got at sales to test!!  And although
    the HFDF CW nets are long gone - I would imagine
    with today's technology, it would be heard. 
    Also have [2] Tech Manuals for the set.
