UHF connector for the antenna- Bad idea done by lots of people.
The stock ARC-2 won't match a 50-ohm antenna without 
an external cap; at least, not on 75 mtrs..
It's a wonderful radio- an effective attempt to 
put an SCR-274N equivalent into one, replaceable package.
I haven't messed with mine for years, but I'm looking
forward to it some time in the near future.
I have some ideas for tightening the tunable IF.

I have a spare dynamotor, should anyone want to trade
(don't need any ARC-5 types, unless they're unusual).
They are the very booger to put back in once you
take them out.
