[Milsurplus] Philippine Guerilla ops

I am now wondering what kind of gear the Philippine
guerilla movement used initially, until a supply system
was set up. Portable radio sets at start of war were this
SCR-178/179 and (maybe? but not likely? ) BC-474/
SCR-288. Remember, the Philippine Territory tended
to get the most antiquated of US equipment.

BTW, if you add up maybe 100+ Philippine coast watch
stations, maybe a dozen or so guerilla base stations,
the Australian-commanded Islands coast watchers, and
the US Navy's 100+ SACO organization coast watchers
and stations in China, you have some busy "contest
weekend nights". -Hue Miller
