Howdy!
Some time ago I was at a hamfest, in a box marked ANYTHING = 25 CENTS
I found a heavy coil on a huge ceramic form. No idea what it was, but I
just found out; it's the pi coil from a T-368 transmitter!
All of a sudden that coil has all sorts of possibilities for a homebrewed
transmitter, especially when combined with a couple of vaccuum variables
I've been hoarding!
Looking over the manual for the T-368, it's suddenly not that simple; I
didn't realize that the rig uses a pi-L network.
If someone has a rig, or the L4 L-net coil available, I could really use
information on that coil... diameter & length of winding, number of
turns, and the positions of the bandswitch taps, so I can fabricate a
copy of L4.
Thanks in advance,
Mr. T., W9LBB
